According to the latest report of the Statistics Center of Iran, in winter 2, the rental price index of residential units in urban areas reached 7.1, which is an increase of 2.7% compared to the previous season (3.1).
In this season, the highest seasonal inflation rate is related to Semnan province with an increase of 3.8 percent and the lowest is related to Lorestan province with an increase of 3.8 percent. The percentage of changes in the rent price index in winter ١٣٩٩ compared to the same season of the previous year (point-to-point inflation) is 2.3 percent, which shows an increase of 1.8 percentage points compared to the fall season ١٣٩٩ (3.1 percent).
The highest point-to-point inflation rate is related to Hamedan province with an increase of 3.8 percent and the lowest is related to Sistan and Baluchestan province with an increase of 3.8 percent. In other words, households in Hamadan province have spent an average of 1.5 percentage points higher than the national average and households in Sistan and Baluchestan province have spent 5 percentage points lower than the national average in the rent sector.
Inflation in the four seasons leading up to winter ١٣٩٩ ١٣٩٩ compared to the same period last year in the rental sector is equal to 1.8 percent. The mentioned information shows the highest number in Hamedan province (3.8%) and the lowest number in Sistan and Baluchestan province (3.1%). The average increase in the cost of rent for all households that have had a contract renewal in the winter is 2 to 2.5 percent.
